Area Information - Kemer, Camyuva, Kiris, Aslanbucak, Tekirova, Beycik & Goynuk

Kemer is the most important touristic center of Turkey in the foot of west Toros mountains near 43 km to Antalya and 52 km along the beach.There was a village with tiny muddy tiny lakes and swamps called "Old Village" created by the torrent from mountains in 1910's. A 23km of stony walls like had been built up a belt to prevent that torrent by the people of Old Village.After times, they called to their village 'Kemer' that means 'Belt' in Turkish.

There was no highway to Kemer in 1960's so all the arrivals was providing by ships, but today Kemer is turned one of most popular touristic centers in Turkey with the implementation of 'Tourism Project of South Antalya', Kemer has growned up fast with highways and other infrastructures. Kiris, Tekirova, Cayova, Aslanbucak, Kuzdere, Beycik, Camyuva, Goynuk, Beldibi, Cirali settlements takes highly important places for Antalya's tourism as Kemer.

This resort town has been carefully designed to blend in with the surrounding scenery and offers an ideal environment for a wonderful holiday. The fully-equipped Kemer marina allows yachtsmen to enjoy the unspoiled bays and beaches south of the town. Shoppers will delight in the wonderful range of high quality souvenirs for sale. A beach promenade north of the marina has steps down from its cafes and shops leading directly to the beach. Kemer Beach is a Blue Flag beach. (The term "Blue Flag" coined by the European Union signifies especially clean beaches). In the Yoruk (Nomad) Theme Park you can watch traditional crafts people at work. The adjoining bay is charming and delightful spot with many sports and daily entertainment facilities discreetly hidden among the pines.

There have been so many developments in Kemer recently. The investments made for the development of Tourism Industry, has an important role in Kemer's economy. The town is an actual sample of the urbanization. Kemer is a comfortable and quite holiday district, with ; completed infrastructure, easy and organized transportation, all utilities of communication and well working Municipality. Today, Kemer is known internationally and has a very important place in tourism as a very desirable tourist destination with its 5 star neighbouring resorts and hotels. One of the major attractions to Kemer is the magnificent mountain scenery and views. Set in the valley of the Taurus Mountains it is lost in the surrounding countryside which is an area of natural beauty, Kemer is entrenched among magnificent Mountain views, pine forests, orange and lemon groves.

Construction permission in the area is restricted as the region is designated as national park. In order to prevent the area from being spoiled, all building height is restricted to 2.5 floors and only in Aslanbucak area it is 3.5 floors so as to maintain the magnificent surroundings views. These factors will have a profound impact on future property values, which should see quite impressive returns on any investments made in this region.

Kemer is a jewel in the Turkish crown! CAMYUVA (KEMER SOUTH)

Located only at 5 km south of Kemer, Camyuva is a small town which is well known with its famous orange and lemon groves. Camyuva is also an important holiday destination chosen by European citizens as it has considerable amount of holiday resorts as well as blue flag and very nice beaches. Besides being an important holiday destination, construction sector in Camyuva has grown considerably over the last years. The fact that the construction permit is very limited to only two floors provides this small town to preserve its nature and beauty. Therefore, demand to properties in Camyuva is increasing not only with above mentioned facts but also because of new ski center at Mount Tahtali opening in October 2006 only 16 km from Camyuva. KIRIS (KEMER SOUTH)

Located at 3 km south of Kemer, Kiris is a well known high-end quarter of Kemer. In this region, you may only find luxury villas or town houses overlooking the pine forests at the back and smell orange, lemon flowers blossoms in the spring time and feel the fresh mild wind. Kiris has an excellent landscaping, scenery of pine forests and most properties in Kiris has a marvelous view of the Mount Tahtali. Again, the building permit here is wery low with more space for the gardens and this allows the quarter to preserve its nature and beauty. There is a walking path inside the pine forest throughout Kiris to Kemer used as a trekking path by not only the local inhabitants but also tourists. Kiris has an excellent beach with blue flag sea where you would also find many 5 star holiday resorts at the coast. Distance to ski center from Kiris is around 19 km. Properties in Kiris has a distance to beach about 1 km.

TEKIROVA & BEYCIK ( KEMER SOUTH & SOUTH-WEST)

Tekirova, located at 17 km south of Kemer is very well known holiday destination with the orange groves and beautiful virgin bays facing three islands. This district is an excellent diving spot with different virgin bays offering marvelous panoramas of Tahtali mountain. It is also closest district to the ancient site city of Phaselis.

Beycik is a charming mountain village located at 23 km of Kemer with magnificent views to the mountain and the Mediterranean sea and the three islands. Beycik is around 1000 meter above the sea level that is why most this area is preferred by many European citizens due to low humidity. Beycik is also in a central position within the famous archeological sites such as Olympos, Phaselis, Adrasan and Chimera. Beycik is at the same time a cozy village overlooking the ski center at the Mount Tahtali.

ASLANBUCAK (KEMER WEST)

Located at 1 km west of Kemer, Aslanbucak and Kuzdere are the most common residential quarters of the major district Kemer. This has grown rapidly over the last years with new areas opening to construction.
